Ambers Making Waves
Our classes
If you have ever wondered if you could create something with resin, I am here to tell you that you can!!! With a little guidance, you can do anything.
Here’s how it works:
- You invite your friends. (Class size determined by project and space).
- We come to your location (or help you find a location).
- We provide everything needed for you to create waves with resin.
The host will choose the small project or large project option, and guests will pick their specific piece at registration. Project pieces will be available for guests to take home from the event with special instructions.
It is super simple to host your own making waves party!

Ambers Making Waves
Making Waves resin class
A Making Waves class with Amber is the perfect introduction to the art of resin. In your class, you will be guided in creating a 3D ocean scene. You will learn how to mix resin, add color, and of course make waves.
You will be given the option of what type of piece you want to create! You will have access to mini shells, crushed shells, and sand. If you would like to add a personal touch to your project, bring your own seashells (please bring more than you think you will need.) The resin used is non-toxic and food safe; meaning that it is safe for indoor use, and food safe once cured.
And as a final note, you will be bringing your piece home with you at the end of class. To properly cure, I highly recommend that your piece is not left in your car after the class and that it remains on a flat surface for 24 hours. Some students have found that having a box/lid/tote is useful in getting their projects home. Once home, please cover your piece with a piece of parchment paper (not touching the resin though) to prevent dust, hairs, etc. from landing on the uncured resin.
To register for a private event, please ask the host for her class link.
Cannot wait to see you in class. Let’s make some waves!
